Since Microsoft has released the details, pre-order and availability dates, and pricing of their upcoming consoles Xbox Series S and Xbox Series X, the onus has now shifted on Sony to do the same for their upcoming Playstation 5 gaming console. While we are already aware of the latter's design, its pricing and availability details are anyone's guess. However, a new leak reveals the box contents of PS5 and PS5 Digital Edition.

Daniel Ahmad, Senior Analyst at Niko Partners, has shared a screenshot of the box contents of the upcoming Sony consoles. He says the alleged listing comes from a Hong Kong distributor. Except for the console itself, the contents will be same for both the variants, at least in Hong Kong. Other stuff included in the box include a DualSense controller, 825GB SSD, a standing base, an HDMI cable, an AC power cord, a USB cable, and an instruction manual. Astro's Playroom will come pre-installed on both the PS consoles.
Although a Bloomberg report suggested that Sony could nearly double its PlayStation 5 production to meet the growing demand, the registration for pre-orders initiated last month was invite-only. The new DualSense controller is also expected to identify and log in players to their respective PlayStation accounts just by the way they hold the controller.
Gamers in India are also eagerly waiting for Sony to bring their new consoles to the country after Microsoft announced that the new Xbox consoles will hit the Indian shores the same day as their global launch.
