New Office 365 Home Premium TV ads include some animal behavior

Microsoft launched a single TV commercial for Office 365 Home Premium as part of its launch in late January. It's been close to three months later and the company is apparently launching a new TV campaign with two new commercials, each focusing on a specific program in the Office 365 bundle.

One of the ads, uploaded to YouTube, shows how the husband of a sick wife can use her list of scheduled activities on OneNote to do her chores. That includes taking the kids to school, go shopping, and ... getting a pedicure. The ad showcases how the same OneNote list can be accessed by more than one device, including a Windows Phone smartphone and a Windows 8-based notebook and tablet.

The other new TV ad is supposed to showcase PowerPoint. It features a boy who uses the multimedia presentation tool to show a report he has created on the African gazelle. The video show him giving his PowerPoint show to his classmates, but his mother and grandmother are also viewing the same presentation on their PCs.

PowerPoint also has a way to add video presentations and, well, let's just say the video Jimmy uses to climax his African gazelle report is one that his classmates, his mother and his grandmother won't soon forget. It's too bad it's not shown in the ad itself.
