New Tracks and Online Feature Announced for Gran Turismo 4

SCE has delivered a couple more details surrounding its next installment of the critically acclaimed Gran Turismo series. Additional announced tracks include a metropolitan Hong Kong course, a Nurburgring race circuit, and a seaside Italian course.

Its newly announced online compatible mode is the Photo Mode, which enables players to take pictures of their favorite cars from popular scenic settings as well as in-game race courses--players can select 16 locales including the Saint Mark Square in Italy and the Nanzenji temple in Kyoto, Japan. You can also print the captured screens as actual screens, or swap them with friends online. Since the game only records the position of the camera and car, the picture files themselves are only a couple of kilobytes, allowing for users to store and send hundreds of images.
