This german site has information on reviews of the new intel chip, the Centrino, and has managed to grab a few bench marks. Amazingly, it does seem to beat an AMD 2000+ on Memory throughput, yet is beaten on Dhrystones, by the AMD and an Intel P4 @ 2.8 Ghz. However, it for a new chip it is quite impressive. It apparently performs well, and has many cool on-board features - such as Wireless lan (where does the aerial go :S).
