It was two years ago that Nextbit teased the world with a new approach to an Android handset. Nextbit's Robin would be a unique device that would make use of the cloud to enhance the user experience and best of all, it was priced right. Although it is an older model handset, the device has hit its lowest price yet, being offered for an impressive $149, and also coming with a free Bluetooth waterproof headset.
Here are the full specifications of the Nextbit Robin:
- Processor: Snapdragon 808
- Memory: 3GB RAM / 32 GB onboard / 100 GB online
- Screen: 5.2” IPS LCD 1080p
- Rear Camera: 13MP with phase detection autofocus, dual tone flash
- Front camera: 5MP
- Battery: 2680 mAh
- Dual front facing stereo speakers
- Fingerprint sensor
- NFC
- Quick charging
- Bluetooth 4.0 LE
- WiFi A/B/G/N/AC
- GSM 850/900/1800/1900
- WCDMA 850/900/1800/1900/2100
- LTE Bands 1/2/3/4/5/7/8/12/17/20/28
Although it doesn't offer the latest and greatest in terms of specifications, it still has a decent amount of power, and has even recently been updated to Android 7.0 Nougat. Since Nextbit was purchased by Razer towards the beginning of the year, the warranty situation might be a bit sketchy. The firm has promised security and software updates until February 2018, but will only offer hardware warranty until July.
