Earlier this month, Nintendo revealed a limited edition bundle for Super Smash Bros. Ultimate, which included the special edition GameCube controller announced alongside the game, as well as the GameCube controller adapter. However, that bundle was exclusive to Europe, and those in the United States didn't have anything similar coming their way.
That seems to have changed today, as the official website of the game now features a "special edition" section, which showcases a new version of the Nintendo Switch Pro Controller, featuring the logo of the Super Smash Bros. franchise as well as a new black and white color scheme, plus a Steelbook cover depicting the game's fiery logo on a black background. The website itself doesn't provide a lot more information about pricing and availability, but Nintendo Everything has spotted the bundle at Best Buy for $140.
The website also lists the special edition controller to be available in a standalone packaging, and that also seems to apply to the European market as it's also mentioned on Nintendo's UK website. Unfortunately, the controller itself doesn't seem to be up at any retailer right now.
Super Smash Bros. Ultimate is Nintendo's most hyped title for this year, and it's slated for release on December 7. It features the highest character-, stage-, and music track-count of any game in the franchise, so it should have many fans excited.
