Nokia's upcoming flagship 8 smartphone has been widely leaked in recent weeks, and today, it made an appearance on Nokia's website, as seen in the image above. Interestingly, the date on the handset is July 20, which means that the Nokia 8 could be announced as early as tomorrow.
This is contrary to previous reports that it would arrive on the 31st. The date on the image is the same that we've seen from leaks, but being that Nokia has the product listing ready to go, a launch seems imminent.
Unlike the company's previous phones, all of which are made by HMD Global, the 8 will be a true flagship. It's rumored to pack a 5.3-inch 1440p display, a Snapdragon 835 chipset, 4GB or 6GB of RAM, 64GB of built-in storage, and dual Zeiss rear cameras.
HMD Global today also lost its CEO, Arto Nummela, "through mutual agreement". The company's President Florian Seiche will be acting as CEO.
Whether the device launches tomorrow or not, if you've been waiting on the arrival of the latest from Nokia and HMD Global, you certainly won't have to wait much longer. The product is clearly ready to be launched.
