There has been no lack of rumors surrounding the supposed Nokia 9 PureView over the past few months. In November 2018, renders showing off a five-camera smartphone purportedly from HMD Global leaked online. Then most recently, its rumored specs and features were revealed through a promotional video.
Today, a new report claims the upcoming Nokia smartphone will launch later this month in Dubai. That piece of information was supposedly provided by sources from HMD Global's distribution channel. Additionally, the Nokia 9 PureView is said to be slated for another unveiling in India next month along with other Nokia-branded devices.
In terms of pricing, the phone is rumored to set you back ₹60,000 (~$850), making it on a par with the Nokia 8 Sirocco, which retailed for €749 (~$860) in Europe upon launch, though its price has been significantly cut to $528 on Amazon currently. Of course, this should be taken with a pinch of salt.
As a brief recap, the Nokia 9 PureView is said to be powered by Snapdragon 845 paired with 6GB of RAM and 128GB of internal storage. It's also supposed to be boasting a penta-lens camera array with ZEISS optics. Other rumored key features include an edge-to-edge 5.99-inch 2K HDR10 display, Android Pie in the Android One program, an under-display fingerprint sensor, and wireless charging support.
