Nokia has finally announced the long awaited Lumia 928 and it is coming exclusively to Verizon and will launch on May 16th for $99 after a $50 mail in rebate. In addition, early adopters will also get a $25 credit towards the Windows Phone store.
The phone will include "three high-audio-amplitude-capture microphones to make sure you can capture high-end, distortion-free audio even in the noisiest environments" and will sport a 4.5in OLED display with gorilla glass covering the front of the phone. Like the 920, the phone will include wireless charging as well. The camera is what really makes the Lumia line shine with a super-fast Xenon flash and an 8.7MP PureView sensor out back.
Microsoft, Nokia and Verizon are certainly making the offer tempter for consumers with a $100 price tag and the addition of a $25 Windows Phone store, it's a lucrative deal that could drive a few more consumers into the Windows Phone camp.
For those of you on Verizon, this will certainly comes as good news and considering that Verizon will have the HTC 8x and the Lumia 928 on its store shelves in the very near future, Verizon's portfolio of Windows Phone devices should gained a considerable bit of klout for Windows Phone fans.
