The Lumia 928 is expected to launch in the next couple of weeks and we're now starting to see a bit more of the device out in the real world. The 928 is a refreshed version of the Lumia 920 destined for Verizon and perhaps a few other carriers.
These images, courtesy of The Nokia Blog, were snapped at a private Nokia concert in NYC. Though guests only got to play around with the Lumia 920, these encased phones were strung around on tripods and they were filming the event. The phones, although similar to the 920, also appeared to match the design rumored for the 928.
For example the phones that were used also had a Xenon flash on the back, much like the one rumored to ship with the consumer versions of the Lumia 928. They also had distinct positioning for the ports around the device with the audio jack and microUSB/HDMI port on top of the device.
The Nokia Blog suspects that the films shot with the new devices will probably be used at the upcoming launch event to showcase the phone's filming capabilities. All in all it won't be long now until we finally see this device hit the market.
