Yesterday Nokia's new Lumia 928 showed up in a full page ad in Vanity Fair magazine, plus the official website got launched. Today Nokia posted a video showing off the new Lumia's filming capabilities including its low-light performance and optical image stabilization.
The video recording capabilities are compared to other leading handsets such as the iPhone 5 and the Galaxy S III. Of course Nokia's own handset ends up being the winner but we have to say that the video capabilities of the Lumia 928 do look impressive. Hopefully Nokia has learned its lesson and this time there won't be any epic reveals about how the movie was shot.
Though the video itself refers to the new device as "the new Lumia" there is no doubt that this refers to the very public Lumia 928 that's expected to launch in the following days. The device is a slimmer, updated version of the Lumia 920 that's rumored to have a a 4.5-inch 720p AMOLED screen plus a new Xenon flash.
