Nokia has released a teaser video for its joint event with Microsoft on Sept. 5 regarding the Windows Phone platform. The video, seen above, says "things are about to change," and was likely shot on a smartphone, if the event's purpose is any indication.
The teaser could imply Nokia is planning on expanding its PureView line of phones to include Windows Phone 8 devices. Nokia's PureView line of smartphones is best known for featuring high-end cameras. So far, the PureView 808 running on Nokia's Belle mobile operating system (formerly known as Symbian Belle) has been the only PureView phone released. That phone features a 41 megapixel rear camera with Carl Zeiss Optics.
Nokia is expected to announce two Windows Phone 8 devices at the Sept. 5 event, which was recently announced to be open to the public. Leaked pictures of one of the alleged phones show a design similar to the company's Lumia 800 and 900 phones. HTC is also expected to announce its own Windows Phone 8 devices at a separate event next month.
