nubia announced an upgraded version of its 5G gaming smartphone, the RedMagic 5S, in July last year. The device featured between 8GB and 16GB of RAM, the Snapdragon 865 5G chipset and improved internal cooling.
Initially, the RedMagic 5S launched at a price of $579 for the base model which has 8GB of RAM and 128GB of internal storage in the Sonic Silver colour option. A second model in the Pulse shade which includes 12GB of RAM and 256GB of storage was priced at $649.
As of today, the Chinese smartphone maker reduced the price of the RedMagic 5G successor permanently for these two variants. Meanwhile, the price for the variant with 12GB RAM and 256GB of storage has also dropped to $599.
