Thanks @dek of FileConnect for telling me about this leaked beta driver from the bowels of nVidia. Don't ask me about the number, you know as well as I that version numbers for nVidia drivers go back and forth more times than well.. anything. Not the 40.xx series, these are 3x.xx.

- Driver dated 08/30/2002 - 30th of August 2002
- Generic Release - All Nvidia cards to date supported
- Unofficial beta release not supported by Nvidia
