NVIDIA has officially announced three new GPU selections for laptops allowing more choices for gamers and creators.
Adding to the previous RTX 20 series laptops, NVIDIA is announcing the GeForce RTX 2050 GPU. The GPU features RT (ray tracing) Cores, Tensor Cores as well as an NVIDIA Encoder which enables NVIDIA DLSS, Reflex, Broadcast, and more. In addition, the GeForce RTX 2050 also incorporates NVIDIA Optimus technology allowing for better battery life as well as optimum performance.
Focusing more on productivity work, NVIDIA has also announced two new GPUs in its MX series. The first, GeForce MX570, is being branded as "the fastest" of their MX GPUs. When compared to prior MX GPUs, the GeForce MX570 features higher powe-efficient CUDA Cores coupled with faster memory speeds.
The second GPU in the MX series being announced today is the GeForce MX550, which acts as a direct successor and upgrade from the previous generation GeForce MX450. When compared with the GeForce MX450, the MX550 contains more CUDA Cores as well as faster memory speeds, promising "a leap in performance and efficiency for photo and video-editing tasks, like using Adobe Lightroom and Premiere Pro, and better gaming than integrated graphics."
All three GPUs will begin to be available from laptop manufacturers starting in Spring of 2022.
