Nvidia leads in 64 bit AMD driver game

WE'VE BEEN CHECKING to see how the graphics vendors are doing on drivers for AMD64 with its little family of chips like the FX, the Opteron and the bog standard one. On Nvidia's site we discovered that you can download their beta drivers, and they've been available from late October 2003.

Now Nvidia offers Windows Server 2003 SP1 x64 and Windows XP 64-bit Edition x64 drivers Version: 52.14 in beta. Since we haven't found anything on 64bit drivers on ATI web site we asked the company what is happening on that front. ATI said that it is focusing on production "of industry leading software for publicly available, fully supported Windows operating systems".
