Virtual reality specialist Oculus opened pre-orders for its long-awaited Rift headset in January, priced at $599, ahead of its release on March 28. The company has now announced that, coinciding with its launch, 30 VR games will be made available for the headset on the same date.
"These games take you to the outer reaches of space, mysterious labyrinths of wonder, and fantastic worlds of adventure," the company said, adding that "they're just the beginning."
The full list of titles that will be available at launch is below:
Oculus says that it's "working with thousands of developers on entirely new VR experiences", but those most excited about the gaming prospects of the new headset will no doubt be pleased to hear that there are "over a hundred more games coming to Oculus this year".
The company also announced the new Oculus Home on Rift, a made-for-VR experience that it describes as "the best way to explore your library, discover new content, and connect with friends in VR". When you don't have your Rift headset on, you'll be able to view this content via the Oculus desktop app.
