Microsoft is rolling out its monthly updates for the Office apps on Android for users enrolled in the Insider program. Most of the updates this month are related to Outlook in some way.
For starters, there are some improvements to Do Not Disturb, including a new nighttime scheduling option and the ability to customize scheduled times. Meeting insights for upcoming meetings will also now be surfaced in search before the user starts typing for easier access.
Outlook is also getting tighter integration with Word and Excel. When someone adds a comment to a document you're working on, you can now reply to that comment directly from the e-mail notification in Outlook.
This new capability, along with the improved Do Not Disturb mode, was also made available to Office Insiders on iOS this week. iOS users also got a new option to prevent sensitive data from being shown in Outlook notifications on the lock screen.
If you haven't yet, you can download the Office apps for Android and iOS from the links below.
Keep in mind that you'll need to be part of the Office Insider program to see these features before the general public.
