The biggest Xbox 360 exclusive game of 2011 will almost certainly be Gears of War 3. The third game in the sci-fi third person shooter series from developer Epic Games is due out on September 20. Today Epic Games announced a new deal with Calibur11 that will allow them to offer Gears of War fans a very cool looking case for the Xbox 360 Slim console called the Gears of War 3 Vault. The new case is currently available for pre-order at Calibur11's web site.
The Gears of War 3 Vault gives Xbox 360 Slim owners a chance for their console to stand out from the crown with an chassis, body panels and locking mechanisms to keep the unique looking case in place. The deep red artwork includes an Infected Omen image on one of the sides. It also has LED lights with four different colors available. The coolest feature is that the case glows crimson red every time your Gears of War 3 character is killed. The special case will not void your Xbox 360 warranty.
In addition to the Xbox 360 Slim case, Calibur11 is also offering buyers of the Gears of War 3 Vault a chance to win a life sized Gears of War GOG armor suite with the logo of Calibur 11. In the meantime the Gears of War 3 Vault is now available for sale for $89.99 and will be released when Gears of War 3 is released from Epic Games and publisher Microsoft Game Studios.
