Samsung has confirmed that it will announce its Galaxy S9 and Galaxy S9+ phones at Mobile World Congress in February. As we wait for the official debut, it looks like new cases for the smartphones have appeared in the wild, giving us confirmation of some of the features.
The video, which has been posted by Mobile Fun UK, shows off the official Samsung Clear View Standing Covers for the Galaxy S9 and Galaxy S9+. Despite the products being made for the upcoming Galaxy handsets, they seem to also be able to house the current Galaxy S8 and Galaxy S8+, meaning that the general shape will be very similar to the current models.
While the cases don't show us much else, they do confirm what we have been seeing for months in leaked renders and dummy models: the S9 will arrive with a single camera sensor on the rear, while the Galaxy S9+ will have a dual camera sensor. This difference will be quite interesting depending on how much better the Galaxy S9+ will be able to capture photos and videos compared to its smaller counterpart. But with the firm sending out invites to its event with the headline "The Camera. Reimagined" you can be certain that it's aiming to take the crown in mobile photography during 2018.
