Nokia has just announced at their London event that Hipstamatic from Oggl, the popular photo app, will be coming to Windows Phone this summer. The app offers similar functionality to Instagram and has proven to be quite popular on iOS, the only other platform that it's available on. It's not yet clear if this app will be available on all Windows Phones or if it's a Lumia exclusive.
The app will offer additional filters that users will be able to buy and download directly from within the app. Another aspect that's interesting is that Hipstamatic has official support to upload users' photos directly to Instagram. So while many folks might be disappointed by the absence of the official Instagram app they will still be able to actually upload and access Instagram photos.
Editor's note: This article was updated to reflect the fact that Oggl Hipstamatic will be a Nokia Lumia exclusive app
