Interested OnePlus 2 buyers can now take up to three days to decide whether to purchase the smartphone before their invite expires.
OnePlus announced a new invite system with the launch of the OnePlus 2 with a view to enable better availability and minimizing excess stock. However, the company failed to effectively implement it and has been facing irate customers due to slow rollout of invites and limited availability which also led to an apology from the company's CEO Carl Pei.
In addition to the short supply of invites there was one more thing that had been bugging some customers, and that is the 24 hour time limit to claim the invite. Now, the company's Facebook page has revealed that it has taken into account customer feedback, and extended this limit to three days, giving reasonable amount of time to decide whether or not to get the smartphone.
It seems that OnePlus has no immediate plans to ditch the invite system as it did with its last smartphone, but at least it's good to know that the company is listening to feedback from customers to improve its service.
