OnePlus revealed its latest flagship-class phone back in June, and made it available to buy a week later, priced from $479 in the US. Two models were available at launch: Slate Gray, with 6GB RAM and 64GB storage; and a $539 Midnight Black variant, with 8GB RAM and 128GB storage.
Today, OnePlus introduced a new color option, but it seems it won't be a permanent addition to its range.
The new Soft Gold OnePlus 5 - which has a white front, unlike its siblings - is described as a 'limited edition' device, and it's unclear how many units the company will make available. Despite its relative scarcity, buyers won't have to pay a premium for the gold handset, though - with 6GB RAM and 64GB storage, its $479 price tag, and the rest of its specs, are identical to the Slate Gray model.
