OnePlus 5T Star Wars Edition launch event set for December 14

At the Bengaluru Comic Con event, OnePlus announced that it would be launching a Star Wars Edition of its newest smartphone, the OnePlus 5T. Now the company has scheduled a launch event for the device in Mumbai, India on December 14.

Just a day after the event, OnePlus will begin selling the smartphone exclusively through Amazon India and its own website. Currently, there is no information about the pricing or the device's availability in other parts of the world. The Star Wars Edition 5T features a white and black color combination representing stormtroopers, and will likely be preloaded with themes and wallpapers related to the popular franchise.

OnePlus will allow fans to join in on the excitement at the IMAX Wadala theater in Mumbai, where they can get some hands-on time with the device as well as receive some Star Wars and OnePlus merchandise such as t-shirts and laptop bags. The tickets for the event will go on sale on December 7 for Rs. 999 ($15). More details about purchasing the tickets can be found on the company's website.
