The OnePlus 6, OnePlus’ flagship for 2018, is inching closer towards an official launch, with previous rumors suggesting a May 5 reveal. Much of the phone's specifications are already known, some of which were leaked and some through official confirmation. You can read through our coverage here. Teasers on the company’s official Twitter handle also suggest that the phone might sport water resistance and hints of new materials being used (probably ceramic, guessing from the teaser images).
Today, the OnePlus brand store on Amazon's India storefront has been updated with a listing for the OnePlus 6. As per a media note sent out by the company, the listing went live at 00:00 hours IST on April 22.Though not much is available in terms of the launch date or pricing, the listing does offer a ‘Notify Me’ option and mentions that the device is “Coming Soon”. Additionally, the device will be sold exclusively on Amazon. This points to an India launch sooner than later. We wouldn’t be surprised to learn of a global reveal too in the next couple of weeks.
The company also posted a new teaser video:
To recap, the OnePlus 6 is expected to sport a 6.28-inch Full HD AMOLED display with a resolution of 2280x1080 that includes a notch at the top. The device will be powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 845 processor and will come with 8GB RAM and 256GB of storage.
The OnePlus 6 is indeed a highly anticipated device and it will be interesting to see how the company intends to price it.
