Since its inception, OnePlus has relied on its own online store for processing orders of its devices, with the exception of its partnership with Amazon India. Now, the company seems to have entered into a similar partnership with Amazon UK and will be selling the OnePlus 2 through the online retailer without the need for an invite.
The company made the announcement about the availability of the OnePlus 2 on Amazon via Twitter. Amazon Prime users will be able to get the device in under an hour, which seems rather convenient for a smartphone that did not ship for a few days when sold directly from OnePlus.
Amazon UK has priced the 64 GB variant of the OnePlus 2 at £249.00, which lines up with the recently introduced price cut. Currently, the OnePlus X isn't available on the website, but it can be expected to appear in the near future.
It remains to be seen whether the Chinese smartphone maker has any plans to sell its devices through Amazon in the US or other countries.
