About a month ago, Twitter leaker Ishan Agarwal claimed that the OnePlus 7T Series would be unveiled on September 26 in Delhi. Alongside the launch date, he also leaked alleged design details and tech specs for both smartphones. Today OnePlus put these and all other previous rumours to rest by officially announcing launch details for the OnePlus 7T and 7T Pro.
As leaked by Agarwal, the OnePlus 7T Series, along with the OnePlus TV, will be revealed first at the OnePlus Launch Event in New Delhi, India, on September 26 at 7PM IST. An online launch is also planned for the North American reveal, scheduled to start at 10:30AM EDT on oneplus.com. Meanwhile, the European launch is slated for October 10, taking place in London, United Kingdom at 4PM BST.
Apart from a 90Hz display, it is suspected that the OnePlus 7T will also boast a circular - 48MP+16MP+12MP - tri-camera setup on the back, equipped with features such as Nightscape, wide-angle video and 960fps slow-motion capture. Allegedly, it will be powered by the new Snapdragon 855 Plus chipset, have 8GB of RAM and up to 256GB of internal storage.
As for the OnePlus 7T Pro, no details have been announced officially or leaked so far. Not much is known about the OnePlus TV either, apart from the fact that it will sport the new OnePlus QLED panel powered by the new Gamma Color Magic chipset, promising an extremely high level of picture quality.
Tickets to the Indian launch event are currently on sale and may be purchased here. The online launch event will be streamed live on September 26 at OnePlus's official webpage.
