Although we don't have an official date, we know that the OnePlus 5 will arrive sometime in the summer. While we have quite a bit of information about what it might have in terms of specifications, it looks like the firm's official Twitter account has teased an image to "show" us what's to come.
While not much can be seen from the tweeted image, if you look closely, you can see the faint outline of something hidden in the shadows of the image above. The caption to the image reads "look into the shadows. What do you 5ee?" - suggesting that a OnePlus 5 handset is actually underneath the OnePlus 3T. If we are to go by this image, it would mean that the handset is somewhat smaller than its predecessor.
While we won't know for sure until its official release, OnePlus CEO Pete Lau did state that the handset would be one of the thinnest flagships out on the market. The device has also been confirmed to be utilizing Qualcomm's latest Snapdragon 835 processor. If a pre-order page is to be believed, the handset will also arrive with 8GB RAM and a large 4,000mAh battery.
Lastly, there seems to be confirmation that the OnePlus 5 will arrive with dual cameras, which can be seen in a leaked image of the rear of the handset, along with an image of the retail packaging. Although a release date has not been announced, the handset is expected to arrive sometime in the summer.
