Last month, OnePlus released its first OxygenOS preview based on Android 7.0 Nougat. Now, its second beta is rolling out - but there's still no love for the company's newest flagship phone.
As with the last preview, the new release is available exclusively for the OnePlus 3. Changes in OxygenOS Open Beta 9 include:
- Added Expanded Screenshots
- Shelf Design Optimizations
- General UI Optimizations
- DPI Optimizations
- Battery Performance Optimizations
- Stability and Performance Optimizations
- General bug fixes
Details on how to download and install the new beta can be found here on the OnePlus site. Bear in mind that if you join the Open Beta program, you'll receive beta updates over-the-air, but if you want to switch to stable official releases later, you'll have to wipe your phone first.
Meanwhile, the OnePlus 3T received its latest official update this week: OxygenOS 3.5.4 based on Android 6.0.1 Marshmallow.
OnePlus has said that the Nougat update will roll out to both the 3 and 3T before the end of the year.
