Despite the OnePlus 6 making its debut in May, the company has managed to keep the hype train rolling by introducing new colors of the handset in June and July. Most recently, it introduced the Red variant of the smartphone, which will be made available on July 10. But before arriving at the current line of colors, the firm had others ideas, which can be seen in this newly released video.
Sascha Segan of PC Magazine was invited to OnePlus' headquarters and was able to take a look at the final build of the Red OnePlus 6, along with some interesting prototypes. As you can see from the video and the image at the top of this article, there were a lot of color options. There were also many iterations of the OnePlus 6, although most of them look quite similar to the final product.
The firm even showed off early prototypes of the OnePlus 5. You can see just how much the phone changed from its initial stage to the final result. Although it has generally sold its phones through its website, it does have plans to partner with a wireless carrier in the United States and to also release a 5G smartphone in 2019. If interested in purchasing a OnePlus 6, you can do so through the company's website.
