India's leading crude and gas producer ONGC has emerged the largest Windows Vista customer for Microsoft Corporation in Asia, with a deployment of over 18,000 units in Asia. ONGC chose to implement Windows Vista due to its advanced security features, expected productivity benefits, search functionality and lower total cost of ownership. ONGC has also conducted company-wide trainings for employees. During these trainings, employee feedback on the benefits of Windows Vista has been extremely positive, with over 91 per cent rating their initial experience of Windows Vista as very good or excellent.
Key Windows Vista customers in India include DeBeers, Hotel Saravana Bhavan, Infosys, KRaheja Corp, Larsen & Toubro, Macawber Beekay, Satyam, Symphony Services and TCS.
