OPPO has just announced the Reno4 Pro for international markets starting with India. We've had the chance to use it before its official announcement, specifically the model with 8GB of RAM and 256GB of internal storage.
The Reno4 Pro has a Snapdragon 720G chipset powering it, and a 4,000mAh battery keeps it running. It has some unique features such as 65W charging, which debuted on the OPPO Find X2 Pro, and it can fill up the battery completely in 36 minutes.
It has a 6.5-inch Full HD+ display with a 90Hz refresh rate, which is still not a very common feature in mid-range smartphones. It's also an AMOLED panel, so there's a fingerprint sensor under the display, and the peak brightness is 1100 nits, so it should always be visible outdoors. There's a punch-hole cutout for the 32MP front-facing camera, too.
Another selling point for the Reno4 Pro is the camera setup, which consists of four cameras on the back, headlined by a 48MP Sony IMX586 sensor. The other cameras are an 8MP ultra-wide lens, a 2MP macro camera, and a 2MP monochrome camera, which helps enable some color filters in the camera app. Check out our unboxing and first impressions in the video below.
