Oukitel has been known in the past to offer eccentric handsets, some featuring outlandish battery life, while others looked to be designed to survive an apocalypse. The firm's latest handset however, looks a bit more in line with what we have come to expect from a sleek smartphone in 2018. The K8 has been teased in the past, but has now been officially made available for a discounted price.
The K8 features a large 6-inch 18:9 1080p display, MediaTek 6750T SoC, 4GB of RAM, and 64GB of internal storage with expansion via microSD. Like many smartphones in 2018, the K8 will have dual camera sensors on the rear, making use of 13MP and 2MP sensors. The front-facing camera will be 2MP, and will also allow the phone to unlock using "Face ID". When it comes to battery life, this unit should provide plenty, seeing as it makes use of a 5,000mAh battery. As far as the OS, it will be running Android 8.0 Oreo.
We know that sometimes, promotional images can be manipulated to look better than the real item, so a video of the actual product has also been included showcasing what it really looks like. If the specifications and design appeal to you, you can now order the handset through the firm's partners on AliExpress. The unit will be priced for a limited time for just $139.99.
