The Walking Dead is Robert Kirkman's popular graphic novel series which has spawned various TV shows and games, such as AMC's The Walking Dead and Fear the Walking Dead, and Telltale's The Walking Dead series.
Another game that has procured the license for the popular franchise is Overkill's The Walking Dead. The title has been in development for quite some time and last we heard, it was delayed to the second half of 2018.
Gamers anticipating the release of the title will be pleased to know that Overkill's The Walking Dead has not been delayed further, and is slated for a launch this year. You can check out the new trailer for it below:
Although we haven't seen much of Overkill's title in terms of gameplay, we do know that it focuses on an original story with four-player co-op and emphasis on teamwork to defeat the undead threat. Its four playable character each have their unique play style and skill tree, which, coupled with a "unique and dynamic level system", allows for increased replayability.
Overkill's The Walking Dead is slated for a release on November 6 in North and South America, and on November 8 for Europe and the rest of the world. Preorders begin on June 12.
