OnePlus has started rolling out OxygenOS 4.7.6 over-the-air (OTA) for the OnePlus 5T. Ever since the launch of the handset in November, OnePlus has released a number of incremental updates improving the camera performance of the handset, and this one appears to be no different.
The latest update brings several camera enhancements including better selfie images in low light conditions along with performance improvements related to third-party camera apps. The update also brings the December security patch for the handset.
Here's the complete change log for the OxygenOS 4.7.6 update:
Camera
- Stability improvements
- Clarity improvements for selfie in low light
- Performance improvements for 3rd party camera apps
System
- Added assistive lighting for face unlock
- Improvements for expanded screenshot
- Improvements for Wi-Fi display
- Updated Android security patch to December
The update is sized at 86MB and may take a few days to reach all devices as it rolls out in stages.
The Chinese company has promised that a stable version of the Android 8.0 Oreo update will roll out for the handset by early 2018, and it seems to be on track as well, with an open beta expected for the update in the coming days, at least in Germany, providing users an opportunity to provide their feedback.
