Two weeks ago, Google introduced its latest handsets to the world, the Pixel 2 and Pixel 2 XL. After giving customers a hands-on preview of the devices last week, it looks like Verizon is now ready to offer them up for sale.
Starting on Thursday, October 19, you will be able to head to your local Verizon store and purchase the handsets. While a representative did confirm that both handsets will be available, they weren't able to provide any concrete numbers on how many will be available in each store. This could indicate that day one stock will not be plentiful, but it still might be worth a shot if you are waiting on your order to ship from Google or Verizon's online stores.
As far as specifications go, the Pixel 2 and Pixel 2 XL have:
- Qualcomm Snapdragon 835 processor
- 4GB RAM
- 64GB or 128GB internal storage
- 12MP camera with optical and electronic image stabilization
- USB Type-C
- Android 8.0 Oreo
As for color selection and size, the Pixel 2 will be priced at $649.99 for the 64GB model and $749.99 for the 128GB variant. The Just Black and Clearly White will be available in both sizes, while the Kinda Blue will only be available in the 64GB variant. The Pixel 2 XL will be priced at $849.99 for the 64GB model and $949.99 for the 128GB variant and is offered in Just Black and Black & White.
