Back in November last year, video game developer Frontier Developments announced that its simulation title Planet Coaster would be getting a console release in the summer of 2020. At the time, the PC game was slated to arrive on the PlayStation 4 and Xbox One.
There has been no further word of the PS4 and Xbox One version's exact launch date so far. Today the British game maker revealed that the console variant of its PC title Planet Coaster: Console Edition will be coming to next-gen consoles as well, releasing simultaneously on all four platforms.

According to the press release, the theme park construction and management game will make its debut on Sony and Microsoft's consoles this holiday season, pushing back the previous release window of Summer 2020.
The Holiday 2020 launch is no coincidence. It aligns perfectly with the upcoming releases of the next-gen consoles, Sony's PlayStation 5 and Microsoft's Xbox Series X, which are both scheduled to debut in that time frame.
