Launch date for online trials revealed, as Sony offers the chance to be one of the first in Europe to take its next-gen hardware online.
PlayStation.com, the official site for Sony's next-gen console, is offering broadband-enabled European gamers the chance to be among the first to share in the great PS2 online dream.
By registering on the site, declaring your interest in all things online and filling in a few details, you stand a chance of being selected to participate in early European trials - months before the general public!
Those participating in the trial will receive a network adaptor, USB headset for voice communication and a copy of action-title SOCOM: US Navy SEALs. Suitable candidates will be chosen early in the New Year, with testing due to commence next February.
With trials for Microsoft's Xbox Live already underway, this gives Microsoft a considerable head start as far as testing is concerned, with both consoles officially going online next March.
To sign up, simply head on over to PlayStation.com, log in, hit My Profile and follow the instructions from there. See you on the other side.
