Are you ready for yet another massive fantasy RPG title? City Interactive hopes so. DigitalSpy.com reports that the publisher will be releasing such a game in 2013 from German-based developer Deck13. The game currently is known just by its code name, the fairly unimaginative "Project RPG."
The game's team is lead by Tomasz Gop, who previously worked at CD Projekt RED on The Witcher 2. This new game, which will be released for the PC, Xbox 360 and PS3 platforms, sounds like it will have a fairly unique setting. The game's world has been split in two thanks to the death of some kind of massive God creature. Each side of this world has its own unique philosophy and the player character will apparently have to choose which side he must join with.
The game is supposed to concentrate on player skill to progress through the game, with simple to learn combat that will still have some depth to it. Enemies in the game will be detected by their fighting skill as opposed to their appearance.
All in all, the premise of "Project RPG" is original enough that we want to learn more and hopefully we will in the coming months before its planned release.
