We're only two days away from Microsoft's big Surface event, and information is starting to pour out ahead of the official announcements. Last week, we saw some likely designs changes coming to Surface products this year, and now some of the promotional materials for those devices have leaked too, courtesy of Twitter user WalkingCat.
In a tweet posted earlier today, the user show a series of images that appear to be from a Microsoft promotional video. The images don't contain anything too revealing, but they do show off what appears to be the Surface Pro 7 and the Surface Laptop 3. However, we only get to see them from behind, so we can't confirm the design changes that were rumored last week.
As you'd expect, the Surface Pro is going to have an LTE variant, though, again, specs for that device haven't been shared. We also see two color variants for the devices, though it's been rumored there will be more this year.
Over the past few days, WalkingCat has been sharing tidbits on Twitter, suggesting that, unlike what was rumored last week, there won't be a "Surface 7", but there could be a Surface Pro model with thinner bezels. It's possible that this would be the ARM-powered Surface, while the Intel-based one would keep the same design language.
Thankfully, it won't be too long before all this information becomes official. Microsoft's Surface event is on October 2 at 10am Eastern Time, and it will be live-streamed online, so you can follow the news from anywhere.
