Last week was quite a busy one for Windows Insiders, with build 14971 rolling out to the Fast ring, build 14965 heading to both PCs and phones in the Slow ring, and ISOs of build 14965 being made available too.
This week, Microsoft also released its new Windows 10 SDK Preview for build 14965 - but the rest of the week will be rather quieter on the Insider front.
Windows Insider Program chief Dona Sarkar has reminded those testing Windows 10 previews that Microsoft won't be releasing any further builds this week. This Thursday is Thanksgiving in the United States, of course, and like many others across the country, the Insider team will be leaving their work behind for a few days to spend time with family and friends, to give thanks, and gorge themselves on turkey and other delicious treats.
But Microsoft won't be completely ignoring its legions of Insiders around the world over the next few days. Dona cryptically hinted at "A Very Important Assignment" for them coming up later in the week.
In the meantime, be sure to catch up on some of the latest news to emerge about Windows 10 in recent days. This week, we've already learned about some of the minimum specs required to power Windows Holographic experiences, which will arrive with the Windows 10 Creators Update next year. And details have also been revealed about Microsoft's plans to bring x86 emulation to Windows 10 Mobile devices with the Redstone 3 update in late 2017.
