Quake II Evolved on hold...

You read it right guys. Q2E is currently on hold in its future status. Unfortunatly, some utter di*k used illigal code in his source mod, and our coder used it thinking it was just normal code. After all, there was no violations, as the mod was still up.

But there was violations. It was using illigal GOLK code. And so, becaues he used the code from that mod in ours, it also made our mod illigal.

So, because of that loser, whose identity im still unsure of, we have had to pull all older verserions of Q2E from download. All File Planet links have been removed and the files deleted. Anybody that has a mirror to our file can you please remove it ASAP, so that other people will not make the same mistake we have.

So, where do we go from here?

Well, my idea, and everybodies elses, is that the offending code be removed from Q2E, replaced, and the project continue. However, our coder is still unsure on this and as he has not come online yet im not 100% sure what is going to happen. Im going to fight to keep this mod alive because we both have put a lot of effort and time into this thing and im not about to just let it die.

However, those of you who seem to be spreading random bullsh*t, quit it. Your not funny, and your just making your self look like a cock in front of everybody.

I once again urge you to understand that this was in no way intentional, and if possible the problem will be rectified and Q2E will carry on as normal.
