Black Label Games today inked a deal with Miramax Films to develop PC and console games based on Quentin Tarantino's upcoming film Kill Bill. Quentin will also play a pivotal role in developing the games, offering his advice and input on them, and making available to the developers key movie footage to be used in the game. Miramax Films and Black Label Games will also co-market and cross-promote the Kill Bill movie and game properties. The video game will launch simultaneously with the home video/DVD in 2Q 2004. The film is slated for a theatrical debut in October 2003 and will star Uma Thurman ("Pulp Fiction," "Beautiful Girls") and Lucy Liu ("Charlie's Angels," "Ally McBeal").
The movie and the game(s) will center on the story of a former assassin betrayed by her boss Bill (David Carradine), who survives a bullet to the head and is nursed back to health. Four years later she seeks revenge on her former boss, his henchman and anyone else involved in the event that almost killed her. Check out the official press release for more information.
