Rainbow Six Siege's second year of content came to a close with the launch of its fourth season - Operation White Noise - last month. However, just as Ubisoft announced at the game's Pro League finals, another year of content is already planned out.
Today, the company has made the 'Year 3 Season Pass' available for purchase. Although not necessarily needed for experiencing the new content headed for the game during 2018, it does give an easier route for collecting the upcoming Operators and yields some useful extras.
Year 3 Season Pass holders will get all eight of the upcoming Operators a week earlier than everyone else, without needing to unlock them. Moreover, they will receive 600 R6 Credits, cosmetic customization items, a 10% discount when purchasing items from the in-game shop, along with some progression boosts.
Also, players who purchase the new season pass before Year 3's first content drop, Chimera, will get the Damascus Steel Signature weapon skin for free. Meanwhile, owners of the Year 2 season pass will receive an additional 600 R6 credits on top of the previous rewards when purchasing the new one.
As always, Year 3's new maps, the reworked map, as well as the Outbreak co-op mode will arrive for all Rainbow Six Siege owners for free. The new Operators will also be unlockable by all non-season pass owners by using in-game credits.
The Rainbow Six Siege Year 3 Pass is now available for purchase on PC via Uplay and Steam, Xbox One, and PlayStation 4, with a price tag of $29.99.
