Razer's peripherals are a favorite among PC gamers, and the company is now targeting those who enjoy gaming on the go with its new Atheris mouse. Described as "the ultimate wireless notebook mouse for productivity and performance", Razer says that the Atheris offers "the world's longest-lasting battery life among mobile productivity mice with gaming-grade features", with up to 350 hours of continuous use from a pair of AA batteries.
The Atheris can connect to a notebook through a small USB dongle that can be stowed away within the mouse when you chuck it in your bag. Alternatively, you can use a Bluetooth connection with devices that don't have a USB port. Like Razer's Lancehead - which costs nearly $140 - the $49.99 Atheris features Adaptive Frequency Technology, the company's proprietary wireless transmission tech, which it says provides "the most reliable, stable connection".
The Atheris is still designed with gamers in mind, though. Razer CEO Min-Lian Tan said:

The Atheris is available to purchase now from RazerStore.com in the US, priced at $49.99. Razer said that it will be "available worldwide in Q4", including in Europe, where it will cost €59.99.
