Today Oppo's sub-brand realme unveiled the latest entrant to its affordable line of smartphones, the realme C11. The announcement was made on realme's Facebook page, along with launch details such as the technical specifications, price, and release date. Sales for the newly announced smartphone are scheduled to go live on July 7, 2020, in Malaysia.
The realme C11 will be making its debut online, with the initial sales taking place exclusively through the e-commerce shopping platform Shopee, which focuses on South-East Asian markets.
Coming to the phone's specifications, the realme C11 features a 6.6-inch HD+ screen with a teardrop notch for the 5MP AI front camera. It houses dual cameras on the back - a 13MP main lens and a 2MP portrait lens - and comes with shooting modes such as Panoramic View, Portrait Mode, Timelapse, Slo-mo, Super NightScape, and more. It is available in a choice of two colors: Mint Green and Pepper Grey.
The C11 is powered by a MediaTek Helio G35 and runs realme UI based on Android 10 out the box. It packs 2GB of RAM coupled with 32GB of internal storage. Other specifications include a 5000 mAh battery, a micro-USB charging port, a 3.5mm headphone jack, two SIM card slots, and a microSD slot for additional storage.
The entry-level realme smartphone is priced at RM429 (approx. $100). The launch promotion bundle includes a pair of realme Buds 2 along with the handset. Although pre-orders are currently open, it must be noted that currently the device is already sold out.
As of right now, it is unclear whether realme will launch the C11 in other markets. More information about the smartphone can be found on realme's official website.
