After over a year of waiting, PC fans can finally begin their Red Dead Redemption 2 journey only a week from now. To prepare for the launch, Rockstar Games has quietly pushed out a pre-load on its new launcher, and it's a good thing too, considering the download comes in at a whopping 109GB.
Note that the total size after installing can be even higher than this, as the system requirements Rockstar recently put out has the game asking for 150GB of space.
The game is slated to launch on November 5 on the Rockstar Games Launcher, with Epic Games Store also gaining the title on the same day. Pre-loading on the latter store doesn't seem to be up just yet. The Steam release date has still not been announced, though a December launch is planned.
The PC version's rather large size can be attributed to the enhancements its carrying over the console editions, such as some new single-player content, 4K textures, and overall upped graphics. See here for a rundown on what's different about this version.
Pre-orders for the game are available across Rockstar Games Launcher, Epic Games Store, and other third-party digital stores, with different bonuses attached to them.
