Registration is now open for Microsoft's Ignite conference

Back in March, we learned that Microsoft is planning to hold all of its events virtually until next summer, so while Ignite was originally supposed to be in New Orleans this year, it's going to be a virtual event. Starting today, you can register to attend, and as was the case with the virtual Build conference earlier this year, it's free for everyone.

While anyone can tune in and watch, one benefit that you'll get from registering is the ability to use Microsoft's schedule builder. You'll also be able to network with other attendees, access the full scope of the conference, and so on.

For Build, Microsoft actually shipped out swag bags for a certain amount of people. While the company hasn't promised to do anything like that for Ignite, you'll want to get your registration in early, just in case it does.

This is actually the first of two Ignite 2020 events. Microsoft announced last month that it's splitting the event up, and the second one will be held early next year. If you want to sign up, you can do so here.
