Violent cult film "Reservoir Dogs" is to be made into a computer game, software firm SCi Games has said. The film about a botched diamond heist launched the career of director Quentin Tarantino and restored the fortunes of actor Harvey Keitel.
Notorious for its bloody gunbattles and constant swearing, it has been a favourite with critics and movie fans since its release in 1992. SCi Games said on Friday it had acquired interactive rights to the movie from Californian film and television production company Artisan Entertainment.
The game will initially be released for Sony Playstation 2 and Microsoft Xbox consoles. SCi promises that gamers will be able to play all the film's key characters, including Mr Blonde, infamous for torturing a policeman in one of the movie's most visceral scenes.
