The Respawn Entertainment-developed Star Wars game that was announced at E3 last year finally got unveiled today at Star Wars Celebration. Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order will be a completely single-player story-driven experience, and comes out on November 15. While we didn't get to see any gameplay, check out the in-engine trailer that was released today down below.
Fallen Order is described as an action melee game that takes place after Star Wars: Episode III - Revenge of the Sith. Players will be taking the role of a young Padawan named Cal Kestis, who is on the run from Imperial Inquisitors after accidentally revealing he can harness the Force. As expected from a Star Wars game, Fallen Order will come complete with plenty of lightsaber duels and Force to use. There's even a companion droid involved named BD-1.
Surprisingly, considering the developer's background, the game will not feature any multiplayer modes. Microtransactions were also a topic that was covered during the reveal stream, where the lack of which was explicitly confirmed multiple times.
Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order is heading to PC, Xbox One, and PlayStation 4, on November 15, 2019, just a few days after The Mandalorian series begins its run, and a month before Star Wars: Episode IX – The Rise of Skywalker comes out in theaters.
